The Ćirilo i Metodije Park (also known as Vuk’s Monument Park or Vuk’s Park) is one of the most famous and oldest parks in the city of Belgrade.
The park is located in the municipality of Zvezdara, in the broader center of Belgrade and has a triangular shape. It is bordered by Ruzveltova Street, Kraljice Marije Street, and Kralj Aleksandar Boulevard. In the immediate vicinity of the park, you can find the Technical Faculty building, the Academy of Business Vocational Studies Belgrade, and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The park covers an area of 1.15 hectares, with the main park alley being asphalted, and there are numerous benches for relaxation. The park is rich in statues and monuments of historical figures, and since June 2009, free Wi-Fi has been available in the park.
In 2017, as part of the city’s spring beautification efforts, the Public Utility Company “Zelenilo-Belgrade” conducted repairs of benches, garbage cans, and planted 16 wild chestnut trees, six red oaks, and four pendulum trees in the park.
